The signing is a showcase of successful triple-helix collaboration between academia (The University of Nottingham Malaysica Campus), commerce (Eureka Synergy Sdn Bhd) and government agency (Cenergi SEA Sdn Bhd) to develop and mobilise the nation's biomass sector, especially oil palm biomass. The objective of this collaboration is to gather the resources of each party to convert the oil palm waste into renewable energy through various strategies and eventually benefiting the nation.
